Why did you choose Providence? “I chose Providence because I felt that it was the best overall fit for me. It met my academic interest and the coaching staff seemed like the perfect group of coaches for me to work under. Starting with Coach (Chris) Gabrielli as the head coach and then more specifically the chance to work with one of the greatest goalies in the game today John Galloway as an assistant coach was something that really drew me to Providence. Even Coach (Brett) Holm on the offense side of the ball was a guy a had a great connection with.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “Our team here at McCallie looks to start the season fast by taking on a fellow Tennessee and National power in that of the Memphis University School (MUS). It will be a great test and place for us to start our season. As the season goes on we have a great opportunity to showcase our team’s abilities in two games in late March against nationally ranked and recognized programs from Severn (MD) and Calvert Hall (MD). After that we will play in the Legacy Cup in Milton, Georgia against top programs from Georgia. That will lead us into the State Playoffs where we hope to have a strong showing and believe we have a chance to compete for a State Title.”
Additional Comments: “I am a Matthews, North Carolina native who is a boarding school student at the McCallie School. I would like to thank all of family, friends, teammates, and coaches for always supporting me in my efforts.”
