Marjory Stoneman Douglas (FL) rising junior defenseman-LSM AJ Ferraro has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the US Naval Academy.

What will you major in/study: Business
Why did you choose Navy? “I really enjoyed my tour of the Naval Academy and got a very positive feeling on the direction the lacrosse program is going. I sensed a strong commitment that they will continue to build the program. Also, I aspire to ultimately become a Naval Officer as well as serve my country in a meaningful capacity.”
Outlook for your high school team in 2014: “We have a new incoming coach, Ryan Burton, who has high expectations for the program.”
Other schools considered: Notre Dame, the University of Michigan and Hofstra University.
