Why did you choose Stony Brook? “Coach (Jim) Nagle and Coach (Andrew) Watkins really made me feel like they wanted me to come to Stony Brook and I could easily picture myself playing for them. The players were also really nice on my visit and seemed like they have a great time while at school. The campus was great and the athletic facilities were also top notch. The school also puts a big emphasis on lacrosse and really wants to see the team succeed.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for 2013? “We return 8 of our 10 starters and have 19 seniors so we are expecting a big year to follow a 12-6 season last year that ended with two one-goal losses that could have gone either way. Our goal is to win our district and we definitely have the talent to do so.”
Thank Yous: “I’d like to thank (Nadison) Coach (Rich) Hodge, Coach Lewandowski, my family and friends, and a special shout out to my brother Jack who taught me how to face off.”
