Boys’ recruit: Hudson (OH) junior attackman/midfielder Lori commits to Lehigh

Hudson (OH) junior attackman/midfielder Bo Lori has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

College Choice: Lehigh University

Club Affiliation: Titanium Elite 2014

Major lacrosse honors, All-Star teams, Camps, Showcases:
2012: All-State and All-Region teams, state semfinalist. 2011: D1 state championship for the first time in school history. Summer, 2012: King of the Hill and Tri-State, Brine National Lacrosse Classic semifinalist with team Ohio. fall, 2012:Philly Showcase with Titanium Elite and made the Easton Fab Forty all-star game.

Academic honors, service projects: Distinguished Honor Roll, four-time Scholar Athlete in lacrosse and hockey, Young Life member, Kentucky service mission team, and captain of the hockey team for the 2012/2013 season.

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose the school? “First of all, Lehigh is a very distinguished academic school and will do a great job of preparing me for life after college. Secondly, the lacrosse program is a top 10 program in the country and is very strong in the well-respected Patriot League. Next, coach (Kevin) Cassese and the rest of the coaching staff really won me over to Lehigh, all of the coaches were very personable and professional. Lastly, there was other aspects that fell into place like the campus really felt like home and the school is only five hours from home, which my family enjoyed.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season?
“I am beyond excited for next season because I think we have the opportunity to get back in the state championship game and even win. We have a very athletic and talented senior and sophomore class and everyone seems to be on board with the work that will need to be put in to accomplish our common goal. Now that I am an upperclassman, I look forward to being a leader on the team and having the chance to help establish a hard-working, positive atmosphere for our team.”

Thank Yous: “I would like to thank my parents and my family for all their love and support during the long and crazy recruiting process. Whether it was driving out east every other weekend over the summer for tournaments or driving out east for college visits, my parents were always there and supported me and I can’t thank them enough! Also, I would like to thank coach AJ Auld and all his Titanium Lacrosse coaches that were a tremendous help in the process.”

Other schools considered? Ohio State, Michigan, Marquette, Delaware and UMBC
