What will you major in/study? Business
Why did you choose the school? “Tufts seemed like the perfect fit for me. I love the Boston area and the collegiate atmosphere created by the numerous schools in around the city. Coach Daly was extremely welcoming during my visit, and the Jumbo lacrosse team’s recent success speaks for itself. Combining that with the academic excellence of Tufts, and there was not a better choice I could have made.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for 2013? “The potential that my team possesses for next season couldn’t be any greater. Coming off two sub-par seasons, we know how it feels to lose and do not enjoy it. We have the best goalie and midfielders in the state of Illinois, and we hope and believe that these talents can carry us to a state championship.”
Thank Yous: “The first people that I would like to thank are the most important people in my lives, my parents. They have put up with the excessive travel, costs, and time that go along with playing the club sport. They have supported me during my entire recruiting process, and I know that they are proud of the decision I made. Two other people that played great roles in my development as a player were my coaches, Steve Brooks and Justin Porter. They taught me every part of my game, and without their teachings I would still be an average Illinois lacrosse player. Finally, another key person in my lacrosse career that I would like to thank is Mike Gabel. He is the one who first got me on a club team, and I am grateful for him giving me that chance to prove myself.”
Other schools considered? Amherst, Brown, Holy Cross, Dartmouth, Michigan
