Why did you choose Notre Dame? “I chose Notre Dame above all schools because it has always been a part of me since I was a little kid, it has been a dream of mine since I can remember.
“My freshman year I refused to look at Notre Dame as an option because I live so close (4 minutes) and I didn’t think it would be good to be living close to my parents, but as I visited and saw campus life from a students point of view I realized that Notre Dame was unlike any other school I had been to or seen. There is something special about the tradition that Notre Dame has and I am proud to say it will be a place I can call home.”
What are your thoughts on this past season and next season? “Our season was outstanding, we ended up only losing to number one Boys Latin (by 2) and number 13 Hill Academy, but won the NALI tournament against Hill Academy 19-10. I am even more excited about our season next year, we ended up ranked 5th and with the talent coming up in addition to the few number of seniors leaving this year, we will have a great year. I believe we could even hit the number one spot.”
Thank You: “I’d like to thank my father, he has been a mentor and a coach to me since I was little, he has taught me everything I know and I can’t wait to play for him next year. Also I’d like to thank my coach Jon Posner who has been like a father to me and rounded my game to what it is today.”
