Why did you choose the Merrimack? “Merrimack College is a fantastic fit for me scholastically and athletically. Coach (Mike) Morgan is very passionate about both his team and the school which was very evident during my unofficial visits. I am extremely excited to be a part of the program he has developed both on and off the field.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “I will be playing Jr A box this spring in Calgary for the Mountaineers and am very eager to be a part of the team Coach (Rick) Windl has built over the past few years. I would suggest that we have an excellent opportunity to compete for 1st overall in the province of Alberta and subsequently qualify for the Canadian Box Jr A Nationals (Minto Cup).”
Thank You: “I have several people to thank in getting to where I am at this point: Coach Mike Morgan (Merrimack College) for his obvious passion for winning and his belief in personal development; Coach Dan Mannix (Utah Starz) for his leadership, trust, friendship and coaching over the past four years; Coach Rick Windl (Jr A Mountaineers) for coaching me all throughout school and sending me to my first recruiting event in Philadelphia; Steve Brandon (NSD – Calgary) for his leadership, inspiration, mentoring and showing me what I can attain physically; My family for all of their support in the past and present.”
