Boys’ Latin (MD) junior midfielder Brady Dashiell has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Furman University.

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Furman University

Club Affiliation: The Greene Turtle Fells Point

Major lacrosse honors: All-Star at FLG in 3D; Played at MVP at Ryder; Attended High Point Camp; Played at National 175 in Connecticut.

Academic Honors: Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose Furman? “I chose Furman because it has a great combination of academics, location, and athletics. Another big reason was Coach (Richie) Meade. He is a really great person, and an even better coach. I am very excited to play for a coach like him. I will have a great time at Furman, and will have a successful life after college.”

Outlook for your H.S. season? “Boys’ Latin is going to have a very successful year. We are pre-season ranked #1 in the nation on US Lacrosse. We hope to fulfill this expectations and win the MIAA A Conference Championship.”
