Division 3 Bates College is getting a brick wall, Molly Urbonas, of Greenwood Village, Colorado. The 2024 Goalie played club for 3d Colorado AA and attended Cherry Creek High School. At Cherry Creek she is a member of the Varsity girls lacrosse team where she earned All-State Honorable mention 2023, CHSSA Academic All-State First Team, UnderArmour All-America 2022, New Balance All-America 2023. Molly excels in the classroom as well where she has been on deans list all 3 years so far and is an Spanish Honors Society Member and an English Honors Society Member. When asked “Why Bates?” Molly said “I loved the girls I met on the team and saw that they had a great team environment. I also loved working with the coaches. Bates also checked all the boxes for me in terms of academics!” She plans to study Biology at Bates. Molly wants to thank her parents for getting her to all the lacrosse camps she attended. She would also like to thank her club and high school coaches for encouraging her and helping her grow as a player. Lastly she wants to thank all her teammates for making her love lacrosse!
