Team Canada Lacrosse 2015 has announced that it has begun to accept player applications for the 2015 Under-19 Women’s Field team that will be representing Canada at the FIL Women’s U19 World Lacrosse Championships in Edinburgh, Scotland, July 23 – August 1, 2015.

Players wishing to stand for selection to the 2015 Team Canada Women’s National Under-19 Team must:
• Be 18 years of age or younger as of August 31, 2014.
• Be a minimum of 15 years of age on July 23, 2015
• Must submit an application (attached) by March 31, 2014
• All players MUST have a valid Passport to travel to the United States.
Tryout Dates (Invitation Only) (tentative)
Top 60 Selection Camp June 27 – July 6, 2014 (report to Toronto area)
Top 30 Selection Camp – October 2014 – Selecting Participants
Under the direction of the CLA Women’s Field National Team Director Gary Gait, Head Coach Scott Teeter and U19 Head Scout, a regional scouting team has been formed. These scouts are evaluating and putting forth recommendations on athletes from the applicant pool. From these evaluations a list of the top 60 applicants will receive an invitation to try out for Team Canada U-19
Applications are due March 31, 2014.
