HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “I have a feeling that West Orange is going to do really well this year. A lot of the girls that are on the team this year are girls I’ve played with since the beginning (6th grade), we’re seniors this year and we just want to have an amazing final year We have a ridiculous amount of talent and potential and I really hope it all comes together this season. Overall I’m happy to be leading the team through my final year on the roster.”
Thank You: “Thank you to my mom, dad and brothers who have been absolutely incredible the past 6 years in supporting me to play the sport I love. I don’t know how to repay them for the amount of support and time they’ve given.
“Coach Neely for introducing me to lacrosse and always believing that I could strive to do better.
“Coach Gierok for instilling the competitiveness and next level lacrosse in my bones. Without your guidance and coaching I would have never of aimed for college lacrosse.
“Coach Hopkins for helping me become a better player overall. A player that leads instead of follows and one that inspires instead of drags. Thank you so much for showing me what the true love of lacrosse is.
“Coaches Ann and Tara for literally getting me the opportunity to play college lacrosse. I’m so happy that when I started to play high school lacrosse I decided to try out for Storm. You guys molded me into an amazing player and I am so thankful for it. All of the traveling and late nights really paid off and I’m so glad I was able to spend my high school years on your team.”
