What will you major in/study? Business
Why did you choose UMass? “When I first stepped on to the campus I knew it was the place for me. I like the size of the school along with the town of Amherst. UMass has a mix of great academics and a very strong lacrosse program with great tradition. The chance to play in a highly competitive league and compete for a National Championship along with the fact that Coach (Greg) Cannella and the players made me feel at home made me realize that UMass is where I want to study and play lacrosse. Coach Cannella and his staff are highly committed to developing my game and me as an individual. I could not be happier with my decision.”
What is your team’s outlook for next season? “We graduated a very talented senior class especially on offense, but we have many guys that are ready to step up and along with our very strong defense we are ready to compete for the Inter-Ac Title. I am very excited for a fun season.”
Thank You: “First, I would like to thank my middle school lacrosse coach, Angelo Juliani. Coach Juliani was the first person to tell me that I had the talent to play Division 1 lacrosse.
“I would like to thank Coach Billy Mckinney and Coach Eric Gregg for giving me the chance to play for Dukes Triple H and for taking the time to develop me as a player. Coach McKinney was also very helpful in the recruiting process and I can’t thank him enough. I would also like to thank Coach Ebe Helm and Coach Jason Christmas for the opportunity to play for The Dukes Lacrosse Club in a lot of fun, highly competitive tournaments and for helping me through the entire recruiting process. Big Thanks to Coach McDonough for also helping me with everything with the recruiting process and for improving my game last season at Penn Charter.
“Thanks to all my boys for always being there for me. You know who you are. I’d like to thank my brothers, Spencer and David for being very cool with my busy schedule and not complaining too much when my parents had to take me out of town for tournaments. You guys rock.
“And finally a huge thanks to my Parents for supporting me with my decision and really making me into a better person. I couldn’t ask for better parents, I love you guys.”
